As modern people live longer, they also face the emergence of many chronic diseases, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular diseases. Patients with these diseases often suffer from poor peripheral blood circulation, leading to wounds like diabetic feet and lower limb venous ulcers, or bedsores due to prolonged bed rest from conditions like stroke. The care of these chronic wounds is very challenging and causes endless pain for patients and their families. By combining traditional Chinese medicine and classical theories with Western medical knowledge, we have developed a modern method of care for chronic wounds in Chinese medicine.
