The focus of this day is on learning a series of qigong practices to strengthen and harmonise the five zang. These are drawn from the baduanjin (five silken pieces) and five animal traditions. There will be an in-depth study of the internal cultivation of body-breath-mind that expresses itself in the actual movements. The practical work will be supplemented by presentations on the history of qigong and an explanation of its unique understanding of body, breath and mind cultivation.
