Founding member of UK Register of Tuina Chinese Massage (UCRTCM). This organisation we created to promote Tui Na to the public, encourage excellence and develop Tui Na in the UK. This involved getting the course coordinators of Tui Na and setting uniform basic standards to improve teaching and practice of Tui Na in this country.

2005 - 2010

2003 - 2008

Mentored by Sara Pritchard at her Blackheath multi bed clinic. This lead me to running the multi bed clinic in 2006.

Training - Initially training I started training with the Dechen Buddhist community under Lama Jampa Thaye, where he studied Tai Qi, Qi Gong and Shiatsu. Buddhism was very influential in my development as a healer and personal development. Whilst in Copenhagen, I became interested in understanding massage and the importance of touch in the process of healing. so studied acupressure, reflexology and massage and started my alternative medicine career part time. In 2001 started studying with Brazilian healer Rubens Farias Jr. assisting him during his retreats and seminars and helping organise his tours across Europe.

In my second year of acupuncture training I came across the teachings of Jeffrey Yuen and have been studying his lectures on the Classics. I am also perusing a Ph.D. in Classical Chinese Medicine at the American College of Complementary Medicine in California.

After starting my studies in Acupuncture I was lucky enough to come across Sarah Pritchard teaching a 2 year tui na diploma course. During this time she also mentored me at her Blackheath Clinic. After graduating on the tui na course I started teaching on the course at the LCTA. As Sarah became more busy I took over the multi bed clinic in Blackheath and we used it to mentor students of tui na and acupuncture from various colleges.

After completing my studies in acupuncture I have been to china and studied Tui Na at Hang Zhao TCM hospital in 2006 and in 2015 on a Daoist retreat visiting the sacred mountains and monasteries of Ge Hong with Jeffrey Yuen.
