Teil II: Klinische Anwendung
In the 1980’s a majority of early Chinese texts, including seminal medical texts such as the Huangdi neijing, were placed on computer databases. This led the way to an entirely new approach to classical text research and has revolutionized the way this early material is understood. In this two-day lecture-based class we will examine some of the major findings that have come out of this research approach over the past twenty-years. In day one we will review basic principles of classical text research and examine some of the primary discoveries that have come out of this research. In day two we will introduce the practice of Neijing nature-based medicine, the clinical method that has been developed out of this research. This method provides a comprehensive model of human health and illness that ties together principles of cosmology, patterns of nature and nature’s design and healthcare into one unified theory of clinical practice.
