Christoph Götte started studying Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 1993 with a 2-year training program in complementary medicine. This was followed by a three-year course in Acupuncture, a two-year course in Western Herbal Medicine and a two-year-program in Chinese Herbal Medicine after which he was awarded Diplomas from the AGTCM (German Association for Chinese medicine).
Christoph worked for about 8 years in an orthopedic-neurology clinic as an Acupuncturist, and since 2003 has run a private practice in Nettetal/Germany with his wife Astrid, an osteopath.
He started studying CCPD (Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis) in 2002 in Wuppertal/Germany with Sybill Huessen, Scott Tower and Leon Hammer. Advanced courses followed in Germany and Florida. Since 2004 he has been assisting Sybill on the three-year training program for Chinese Medicine at the “August-Brodde-Schule” in Wuppertal, Germany and at the Private University Witten-Herdecke, Germany. He has also assisted Sybill and Scott at numerous intermediate and advanced classes in The Netherlands and Germany.
He became a certified instructor of CCPD in 2014 and senior instructor in 2019. He taught Shen-Hammer-Pulse-Diagnosis with Sybill Huessen and Sebastian Kütter for many years in Germany and the Netherlands.
