Nenad Kostanjsek is working in the Health Data Standards and Informatics Team at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland since 1999.
As a Technical Officer he coordinated the development of the International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health (ICF) and the International Classification for Patient Safety (ICPS).
In the context of the ongoing 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) he is currently responsible for international field testing of the ICD-11 and the development of the International Classification of Traditional Medicine (ICTM), Before joining WHO, he worked as Programme Officer and Technical Advisor for institutional and health system development for the German Development Cooperation in Africa, Latin America and at Headquarters in Berlin, Germany.
