Peter Kington hails from Brisbane, Australia and is the founder of Conceive – Natural Health & Fertility. A generalist at heart, Peter’s clinical interests include fertility, gynaecology, IVF support and men’s health.
Peter is registered with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia in the divisions of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He is also a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
Peter has been presenting professional development seminars to colleagues since 2010 and where possible, contributes papers to acupuncture and Chinese medicine conferences. In 2017, Peter presented four days of seminar material for eLotus, based in California and in 2018, Peter was the keynote speaker at Acupuncture New Zealand’s annual conference in Wellington.
Early 2019 saw Peter present two, two day seminars in New Zealand for Acupuncture New Zealand and in late 2019 Peter was working on programs for rollout in 2020.
Peter has also taught acupuncture to undergraduate students at the Endeavour College of Natural Health (formerly Australian College of Natural Medicine) between 2005 and 2010 and again in 2016 and 2017.
In addition to his Chinese medicine qualifications, Peter holds a Master’s of Reproductive Medicine from the medicine faculty within the University of New South Wales. Peter also holds a Master’s degree is history and American studies, a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and a Bachelor’s degree in politics and history.
Peter’s previous work history includes - thankfully - a short career in retail and a long stint as an international Tour Director with an American tour company.
Before COVID put a hold on international travel, Peter remained an enthusiast international traveller who has visited most countries in
South East Asia, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Canada, Mexico and over thirty states in the USA. Peter has travelled to most countries in western Europe, some in Scandinavia, a few in eastern Europe and loves nothing more than carb loading in Mediterranean Europe.
When he’s not working Peter likes eating nice food, drinking good coffee and sampling tasty wine. All invitations are gratefully accepted.
