Dr. Su received her M.D. and D.M.S. from China Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan (2010). She completed her pre-doctoral internship and residentship at China Medical University Hospital (CMUH). She currently works as an Attending Physician in Chinese medicine at the Department of Chinese Medicine in CMUH, and as the Director in the division of TCM Gynecology. She is also an Associate Professor at CMU. In the field of acupuncture, Dr. Su is a practitioner who uses Master Dong’s points. She is one of third generation disciples in Master Tung's Acupuncture Family.
Dr. Su currently is an editor of the journal of “Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine”. Her clinical interests include treatments of gynecological and obstetric problems using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Master Dong’s acupuncture. She also devotes a lot on reducing side effects of operation, chemotherapy, and radio therapy in breast cancer patients. Her clinical interests also include weight loss methods by TCM. Teaching interests include TCM diagnosis, TCM oncology, and TCM Gynecology. Research interests include effects of Chinese medicine (herbs and acupuncture) and dietary therapy in women’s health. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals, including studies related to beneficial of traditional Chinese postpartum care for women, usage of Chinese medicine to reduce surgery rate in patients with uterine fibroid, pulse waveform differences within a menstrual cycle. She also has presentations at several professional conferences.
