Dr. Shiyi Zhou (CN)

Dr. Zhou Shiyi, Professor of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Supervisor of Postgraduate Students
Dr. Zhou, M.D., is a distinguished professor and chief physician of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). He is a reserve candidate for the Provincial Academic and Technical Leaders in Sichuan Province, China.
With a long-term dedication to teaching the course “Andrology of TCM”, his research fields are primarily centered on the fundamental and clinical research of male urogenital diseases, especially the application of collateral disease theory in the study of male urogenital diseases.
In recent years, he has authored three monographs focusing on reproductive and urogenital system diseases such as Collateral Disease Theory of TCM and Urogenital Diseases. As the principal investigator, he has successfully led many provincial and ministerial-level research projects. He has published over 20 research papers about treating or researching male urogenital diseases with TCM theory in high-impact journals, including those indexed by SCI and Peking University Core Journals. His contributions have been recognized with seven Teaching Achievement Awards from the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and two Young Scientist Awards from the Sichuan Medical Association.
