I. Common pathogenesis and treatment of menstrual diseases
General treatment: mind-calming & menstruation-regulating acupuncture method
Differentiation-based classic acupuncture:
Yin deficiency -- acupuncture & moxibustion for returning fire to its origin
Qi deficiency - Du-dredging wheat moxibustion and "burning mountain fire" on ST-36
Yang deficiency -- Wu's long-snake moxibustion and "burning mountain fire" needle manipulation
Qi stagnation and blood stasis -- the method of "Dragon Tiger fighting" at BL-18

II. Treatment of common menstrual diseases
Advanced menstruation - Du-dredging wheat moxibustion plus midnight-noon ebb-flow acupuncture
Scanty menstruation - Wu's long-snake moxibustion (emphasizing sensation and quantity of moxibustion)
