Chinese Medicine boasts a rich history in addressing both emotional and physical disorders of the heart. Ancient texts, such as Zhu Dan Xi's writings from 1281-1358, detail protocols for heart rhythm disorders, while Zhang Zhong Jing's Han Dynasty texts cover Chest Pain - Xiong Bi pattern differentiation. Despite understandable apprehensions from practitioners, it should be noted that Chinese Medicine offers a safe approach to effectively address cardiovascular conditions. This workshop, drawing on Amos Ziv's 20+ years of clinical experience, provides a practical journey towards becoming a 'Chinese Medicine Cardiologist.' The journey starts by delving into intriguing theoretical aspects of balancing Xue and Shen and progresses to practical guidance on differential diagnosis and point protocols for common issues like premature heartbeats and palpitations.

Some of the topics covered will include:
    • A brief historical overview and the current state of CM cardiology
    • The surprising scope of cardiovascular conditions that can be aided with CM
    • A personal journey: How to access this gem of outmost clinical importance
    • Basic western tools: How to approach, study and identify red flags
    • The Yin and Yang aspects of heart contraction and relaxation
    • The Yin and Yang aspects of sympathetic and parasympathetic responses
    • Balancing Xue and Shen to calm the heart and mind
    • Palpitations and premature heart beats syndrome differentiation and point combinations
    • Marketing your CM cardiology clinic: Scientific publications for effectively approaching physicians, website, social media, patient education and tips
