Call for Posters

Invitation to Submit Scientific Posters for the 57th TCM Congress in Rothenburg

The TCM Congress in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, taking place from 12th to 15th  May 2026, is one of the largest of its kind worldwide in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As scientific research is a central future topic for TCM, it has had its own dedicated day within the congress program for years: the TCM Research Day. Here, both established and emerging researchers present their latest findings on TCM and subsequently discuss them with an interested audience.

To better represent the breadth of scientific approaches, we cordially invite researchers from all disciplines working in the field of TCM to present their results to the public in the form of a scientific poster during the upcoming TCM Research Day (15th May 2026).

The three best posters will be selected by a scientific jury after a poster walk, during which all submitters will have the opportunity to present their work in person.

The poster prize of 600 Euros is donated by the Insula Institute for Integrative Therapy Research, Hanover.

(1st prize: 300€, 2nd prize: 200€, 3rd prize: 100€).
All abstract presenters will receive a certificate of participation.

Who can participate?

Researchers from all disciplines working in the field of TCM.

Requirements for participation are as follows:

1) Application of scientific methods to a topic in TCM
2) Adherence to ethical standards (if applicable, include an ethics vote)
3) The presented research must not be older than three years at the time of submission
4) Only one abstract is allowed per person
5) The abstract must be inserted into the abstract form in English and submitted via email to hardy(at)agtcm.de

Dates

The deadline for submissions is 18.12.2025.

All submitters will be informed by Anne Hardy regarding the acceptance of their abstract by 22.12.2025 and can attend the TCM Research Day at a reduced congress fee of 150 €.
The best abstracts will be published in the Qi – Zeitschrift für Chinesische Medizin in due time before the congress.

We are looking forward to the scientific exchange!
