On 30 May 2025, the TCM Research Day took again place during the TCM Kongress in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
For the third time, a poster session was held as part of the TCM Research Day under the direction of Prof Dr Florian Beissner and the poster prize was awarded.
Here, both established and young researchers presented their latest findings on TCM and then discussed them with an interested audience.
We are pleased to present the following poster winners:
1st Prize – "A Quantitative Analysis of the Most Frequently Used Acupuncture Points by Ten TCM Practitioners in Switzerland" by Chantal Blaser, Chiway Academy, TCM Aarau
2nd prize – "Effects of Traditional Chinese Acupoint Massage Combined with Tailored Tai Chi on low back pain in patients with lumbar disc herniation: a randomized controlled trial" by Qingguang Zhu, Tuina Department, Yue yang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Shanghai
3rd prize – “Daith piercing, a social media hype on YouTube for treating migraine? A systematic video analysis on quality and reliability.” by Saroj K. Pradhan, Swiss University of TCM, City Hospital Triemli, Zurich, Neurology & Neurorehabilitation Department Rehaklinik, Bad Zurzach
