The main focus of this day is on learning a series of Qi Gong practices to strengthen and harmonise the five zang. These are drawn from the baduanjin (five silken pieces) and five animal traditions. There will be an in-depth exploration of the internal cultivation of body-breath-mind that expresses itself in the actual movements. The practical work will be supplemented by presentations on the theory and practice of Qi Gong and of deep, lower abdominal (dantian) breathing.
