This one-day intensive will explore the concept of Jueyin as an anatomical and physical landscape. For the first part of the day, material will include a discussion of the liver, pericardium, xinbaoluo and other structures often found within the broad category of Jueyin.
This portion of the day will include a presentation of exciting classical research on these subjects by Giulia Boschi. Focus will be on expanding understanding of Liver and Pericardium as a system for clinical application. The second part of the day will involve hands-on practice using channel palpation for diagnosis of the Jueyin channel. Commonly found irregularities on the channel will be described including diagnostic significance and potential treatment strategies. Palpation techniques will be demonstrated by the instructor and practiced by participating students.
