This workshop will start with an overview of my personal journey with Chinese herbal medicine through the lens of some of the important insights gained during the decades long process of translating the Shāng hán lùn with my friend and mentor Ma Shouchun. I'll discuss on how my personal lessons might enhance your understanding of the SHL in theory and practice. The remainder of the workshop will be a detailed look at the use of some SHL concepts and fromulas as example of how these insights translate in practice
