Since 2000, Beverley has been Research Acupuncturist at the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood UK. She has conducted exploratory research into several areas of cancer survivorship including: using acupuncture to manage breast cancer treatment-related hot flushes; acupuncture in the management of cancer treatement-related lymphoedema; using self-administered moxibustion to improve outcomes of chemotherapy patients. A licensed acupuncturist since 1999, she practises privately at her clinic Acupuncture & ScarWork in Uxbridge, Greater London. She is a Fellow of the British Acupuncture Council, Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, and immediate past Chair of the British Lymphology Society (BLS) Research and Scientific Committee. She is the author of Acupuncture and Cancer Survivorship: Recovery, Renewal and Transformation, to be published by Singing Dragon in 2023.
