Coleen Smith (US)
Coleen is the current ABORM president and has served on the board since 2012 . She is passionate about education and advancement for reproductive medicine for all acupuncturists. Coleen was also the cofounder of the CAMSIG and later served as president of that organization, which is a special interest group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.(ASRM) .
Coleen started her career as an RN and worked in that field hospitals for more than 20 years. She then went on to get her masters degree in Oriental medicine 2004 and a doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2012.
Coleen currently works in Spokane, Washington with two reproductive endocrinologists and has a busy practice seeing patients with all kinds of fertility issues.
Coleen has taught as an adjunct professor for a doctoral program in San Francisco and has spoken at different symposiums in the United States and Canada.
