Ferdinand has been learning Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and related subjects since 1995. He spent eight years in China – first learning the Chinese language, then completing medical studies at university, and learning Qigong and martial arts along the way. Charles Chace and Dan Bensky introduced Ferdinand to Engaging Vitality in 2011, in which he now teaches basic courses, assists advanced courses and leads study groups. His clinical spectrum ranges from TCM to Japanese Toyohari acupuncture, as well as visceral manipulation in the tradition of J.-P. Barral – all of those integrated into the Engaging Vitality approach. Ferdinand works as an alternative practitioner near Munich.
