Jens began his training in Chinese Medicine in 1996 at the August Brodde School in Wuppertal, Germany, and continued in China in 2000. From 2000 to 2009 he made several annual study visits to China. He has been learning from his teacher Dr. Wu Boping from Hangzhou since 2002. He completed a part-time study at the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from 2006 to 2009 with the Doctor of Medicine, Internal Medicine of TCM (Ph.D TCM).
In cooperation with the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, Jens founded the TCM Academy Cologne in 2011 and accompanied German colleagues in their Master and Doctor studies at the university until 2014.
Jens works as an alternative practitioner in Cologne and is a visiting professor at the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China. Since 2010 he has been trained in Japanese acupuncture and meridian therapy.
