Laurie Ayres (GB)

Laurie began his training at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture in 2004, graduating with a BSc (hons) degree in acupuncture and a postgraduate diploma in oriental herbal medicine. In 2007, Laurie began studying the Tian lineage of Shang Han Za Bing Lun practice with Dr. Arnaud Versluys, which he continues to study and practice to this day. During those years he was fortunate enough to train with Dr. Zeng Rong Xiu.
Laurie was appointed director of the London branch of the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM) in 2009, and approved as the Institutes first instructor and clinical supervisor. In 2010 Laurie started teaching ICEAM’s Canonical Chinese Medicine Training program, and continues to deliver lectures and clinical training in locations across Europe, Australia and the US.
Laurie has been in clinical practice since 2007, alongside his various teaching clinics around the world he maintains a practice in London where he specialises in autoimmune diseases.
