Nina got her TCM and Asian martial arts education in Europe and the US, followed by three years of internship and continuing education with personal teachers in Chengdu, China.
Nina lives in Zurich, Switzerland with her family where she has been running her own TCM general practice since 1998 with a special focus on Paediatrics, Mental Health, and Dermatology. She is also a practitioner and teacher of Chen style Taijiquan. Contact: www.tongentangpraxis.org
She teaches TCM Paediatrics and Herbal Medicine in Swiss as well as German and UK TCM schools.
Since 2002 she leads regular TCM herb study trips to China, where she takes participants to identify herbs in the wild, visit herb cultivation areas as well as processing facilities: www.tcmherbs.org
She has initiated the first garden for Chinese medicinal plants in Switzerland which has been opened in August 2016 www.tcm-garten.ch
Nina has completed her MA on the History of Cinnamon use at the Institute for Asian and Oriental studies, University of Zurich in 2022. She has published articles in several English and German language journals related to Herbal Medicine, Health Care, and Cultural History.
