Zheng Qianhua, PhD, an associate professor, master tutor, the Teaching Elite Talent of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sichuan, China, and the Dean of the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Clinical Department in the School of Acupuncture and Tuina, is devoting herself to studying the therapeutic effects/functional mechanism of acupuncture treating diseases, serving the public with the traditional TCM therapies, and cultivating the TCM talents at home and abroad. She has been charging or participating in clinical trials and experiments funded by NSCF and Key R&D Program in China, particularly focusing on the acupuncture and moxibustion therapy for gastrointestinal diseases and cardiovascular diseases, and published more than 60 academic papers.
