Jin Zhao was born at Chengdu, Sichuan Province in 1978, graduated from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM), MD, Associate Professor, master student supervisor. He studied under Professor Chen Chaozu, the first batch of famous TCM doctors in China, and Professor Song Xing of CDUTCM. He is selected as the successor of the sixth batch of academic experience of national TCM experts, and a candidate for the academic and technical leaders of the Sichuan Provincial Administration of TCM. Currently he is with CDUTCM, his main research direction is the academic theories and clinical application of doctors in the past dynasties. He has devoted himself to teaching TCM medical history literature, TCM medical history and Doctrines of various TCM historical schools for over 10 years. Among all his academic researches, the Pi Wei Lun (Treatise of Spleen and Stomach) is the one he studied thoroughly. Prof. Jin is good treating diseases based on pattern differentiation, prescribes formulas that combined with experiences of historical doctors to treat internal diseases, exogenous injury diseases, pediatric diseases, gynecological diseases for over a hundred patients every day, and received effective results. He has hosted or participated in 8 scientific research projects above provincial level, has participated in the compilation more than 10 books, has published more than 20 papers in Peking University Core Journals and SCI Journals, has had 3 invention patents. He also serves as an executive director of Doctrines of various TCM historical schools and clinical research branches of the China Association for the Promotion of Chinese Medicine Research, an executive director of the Young Chinese Medicine Training Working Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and a member of the first council of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies’ Tumor Classical Prescription Therapy Research Professional Committee.
